Meet Grace
Grace Li Qing Ng is a 19-year-old tenor trombone soloist who is originally adopted from Guangdong Province China. Currently based in Philadelphia, PA, she has earned acclaim for her emotional depth and technique in her performances.
As a soloist, Grace has been a featured soloist with esteemed ensembles such as Imperial Brass. She has performed on prestigious stages, including Paul Hall and Aspen Chapel, as well as internationally in Japan. Dedicated to advancing the solo trombone repertoire, Grace has collaborated with rising composers such as Dayla Spencer and Yuri Lee to premiere new trombone works.
Grace has received numerous awards, including the Aspen Music Festival Scholarship, Mark Freeh Scholarship, Stagetime Career Grant, and Crawford Green Award. A notable achievement in her career was her Artist in Residence with Imperial Brass during the 2023–2024 season.
Grace is also the co-founder of the Macau Duo, a trombone duo dedicated to showcasing the instrument’s versatility and technical brilliance through diverse and meaningful performances.
